Pick up of reports
The report is a personal document that contains the result of the examination performed. It is delivered at the end of the examination, where possible, or a few days after the examination, if the report requires more time. The modalities of withdrawal may be different according to the type of examination performed. More information below:
The reports of laboratory tests are sent via e-mail.
How it works: during acceptance you will be asked to provide a cell phone number and a personal e-mail address.
The sending of the report to your e-mail address will be communicated to you by SMS:
- access your e-mail box from the device in use (computer / smartphone)
- open the email sent by Mater Olbia by clicking on the link highlighted in yellow (see figure)
- enter the identification code (PIN) received via SMS
- Insert the checkbox “I am not a robot”.
- download the report in PDF format
Should you have problems opening the file, we recommend that you download
the latest version of Adobe Reader® https://get.adobe.com/it/reader/
Adobe Acrobat Reader app for cell phones
If you are not able to open the report, write to email@example.com with the following data: name, surname, date of the exam, fiscal code, email and cell phone number. In this way we will retry the sending.
It is not possible to send the reports via email. Radiology reports and images can be picked up in person or sended to your home. When the report is ready for pickup or shipping the patient will receive an alert on their cell phone.
How it works: You will be asked to provide a cell phone number and a personal email address during check-in. Both of these required details are important for the purposes of notification that the exam has been reported and that the report is available.
When the exam report is available: you will receive an sms or email notification as soon as your report is available and must be picked up within 90 days of notification. If you do not receive an sms or email notification you can send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org indicating your name, surname and telephone contact. If you fail to pick up the report within 90 days of notification, your report will be destroyed to protect your privacy, and any reprinting will be charged (see section Radiology duplicate report request).
